Dr Martin performs many surgeries (except weight loss surgery) under the “Known Gap Scheme” where the patient is $500 out of pocket and then the remainder of the account is sent to your private health fund.

Please note: some funds, such as NIB, Frank Health, QANTAS, APIA, Budget Direct, CDH Benefits Fund, Mildura Health Fund, St Luke’s Health, Latrobe Health Services, do not offer “known gap cover” where the patient is only $500 out of pocket. If your private health cover is with one of these funds you will pay the total fee and then claim back from Medicare and the fund. This is the health fund policy and beyond our control.

Our practice does not offer the “no gap scheme”.
